NOVATECH A.I American College has zero tolerance for bullying in any form. Every student has the right to feel safe, respected and valued. Creating and maintaining that environment is a shared responsibility of students, staff, parents and the school community as a whole.
Bullying is repeated, intentional behaviour — physical, verbal or social — that causes harm, distress or humiliation to another person. It includes but is not limited to:
A single incident of harmful behaviour, while not bullying by definition, is still taken seriously and addressed promptly.
NOVATECH takes a proactive approach to preventing bullying through:
Students or parents who witness or experience bullying should report it to any trusted staff member. All reports are taken seriously, investigated promptly and treated with appropriate confidentiality. No student will face negative consequences for reporting a genuine concern.

Cyberbullying that occurs outside school hours but involves students and affects the school community is within the scope of this policy. The school will work with parents and, where necessary, relevant authorities to address online harassment involving its students.
